For the James series artwork, I suggested two options. The first depicts a topographical map, in a field guide style, as the series explores the use of wisdom in "navigating" life. The second shows an unlit match, which has two points of significance (1) part of the passage states that the tongue “can set a whole course of one’s life on fire” when words are spoken rashly and (2) the audience in the story is asking the speaker how to live out their faith, how to be "the light." We ultimately landed on the first option as it best encapsulated the overarching theme of the series.
